Why did you choose to attend UE?
Because it is a smaller school and close to home. The business program also caught my eye. When I started here, I knew I wanted to enter business, so UE made it easy for me!
What activities or organizations have you been you involved with at UE? How have these impacted you and your college career?
During my sophomore year, I participated in LEAD Forward. LEAD Forward impacted my college career because it helped me meet a great group of people and work on my leadership skills. I met leaders around the Evansville area and learned how they ended up where they are now.
What makes UE a special place?
It is a small college where the professors know who you are and that you are important to them. My professors have helped me work harder and made college so much easier for me.
What advice would you share with incoming students?
Get out there and joining clubs or Greek life. Being more involved around campus will make your college life more enjoyable. I have met some of my favorite people here, and I may have never met them if I never joined a group or picked a random elective.
Why do you recommend the University of Evansville?
I recommend UE because it is a smaller school where you do matter. As a transfer student from a huge college, UE changed my perspective on college. The professors see us and help us. UE offers countless opportunities for students to pursue during their time on campus.
